Clearly, today's NR is not bad news. Nobody can claim that more sulphide mineralization on anomaly 5kms from the DE1 is not interesting. However, its equally clear that NOT are not yet prepared to say the Eagle 3 has landed, or else they would have.
It seems that they do not yet have enough drill data on AT3 (target 'B' on the February 29 Genuity Report) to conclude this. Certainly the visuals are positive, but people should have noticed how they are different from the visuals for DE2 and DE1.... Conspicuously absent is the Ni component in visible pentlandite crytals.
Only assays will reveal the extent of possible PGM minerlization, as well as potentially micropic Ni, and maybe even gold, and I suspect that NOT will want to drill more holes and have assys before they proclaim the landing of Eagle 3...
For a bit of semanic consideration, one has to also wonder if the 'DE' (double eagle) acronym remains appropriate once they discover more than two eagles... Perhaps it should become E1 (Eagle 1), E2, and E3, when the third eagle is finally 'born'? It seems that 'DE3' (the third of two ((double)) eagles) would be inherently contradictory and possibly an oxymoron?

B.
