"By the way, if all these presidents here are so confident and long on NOT, why do they feel it necessary to call Dick every other day for an update? And then tell us to be patient. What are they so worried about?"

You seem to have missed the fact that this is all part of good D.D.  To have faith in a companies directors is one thing, to leave it totally in their hands without checking into the details is another.  I think you should appreciate that based on your comments.  In addition, the confidence of which you speak comes from talking directly with the decision makers.  D.D. doesn't get much better than that.

If R.N. was tired of answering the phone, believe me, he has the cash to hire someone.  My guess .... he loves talking about his passion to ... yes.... joe average shareholder.  When I've talked with him, it was me who ultimately had to terminate the call.  He had more to say.  Doubtless there are times he'd rather not answer the phone, but on balance, there is no question he has enjoyed many of the calls.
