It's an education with everyone of your posts. Many thanks.

This time I learned a little bit about "cementing". I was wondering about the holes and what are done with them after the core is pulled. I guess really cold weather affects the preparation of the cement and the filling of the hole.

By they way, I assume that hole position and the logging of hole position is quite important. Do they use GPS now to log the position with regards to latitude and longitude? And is there a physical marker placed in order to also help with finding location, if needed?
