Either we have to be a little bit tolerant of OT stuff, and hopefully be self-policing when it gets out of hand as it tends to from time to time, or we have to BECOME a police state and report every single infraction of off-topic, unrelated stuff.

Option number three: "Just the facts" people can have the discussion forum to themselves, and all the more social types can migrate permanently to a more relaxed forum in the Off Topic forum. This way we would end up with 2 Noront forums of two different styles.

Anyone who is interested in discussing this, let's take it to the OT board.

P.S. relative strength is beginning to point upwards on NOT...let's hope it goes skyward!
