I assume you say this because the share price has drifted down and the if this saying is true we would open even lower on Monday. However the opposite is true. As there is no rumor the price has not gained anything. That means a weekend press release would cause everybody to scramble on Monday to get on the bandwagon for the next gap up. This mean if anything they will only drive the price higher.
