Kelsee posted his visit to the Thunderbay Lab facility begin march on the Spider hub.

I suggest reading this release of his initial visit and his other posts called "...follow-up on Act.ab T.Bay" from his post history. Helium

Visited Activation Laboratories Ltd. T.Bay...

...I stopped by the Activation Lab facility at the ex-Confederation College Moffat Hangar facility in T.Bay early this afternoon, didn't know if I would find anything out or not. As you might figure this building has a ton of space and appears to be a perfect fit for ActiLabs operations.

...I entered the building, looked around, a lot of open space...but I heard noise, construction going on.... scouted around until I found the office, and low and behold the manager for T.Bay ActiLabs was in. We introduced ourselves, then I went right into my question period, lol...

...are you presently accepting samples? ...yes, we are... presently only doing the pulverizing (powdered form of samples), didn't ask, but they must be sending these to their other facility in Ancaster, Ontario to carry on with the assay work. He, Mr. Mackie, led me through the building, room to room, upstairs, throughout, explaining what each area would be used for when all equipment has arrived and was in place. He said they will be spending $1.2M on this lab... it will initially employ sixty people in the first year, and he explained that they hoped to double that in year two. They are also working with the college and are trying to initiate courses pertaining to their business needs... he also told me that once they are running at full capacity 24/7, they will be able to handle in excess of one thousand samples per day, I thought wow, great.

...what are the turnaround times for assays? ...all assays of any kind will not exceed two weeks in duration, and that includes PGE’s (I made sure to ask)...what about re-assays? ..well, he said they have a computerized program in place that indicates high grade readings, so they instantly know this information, and so to re-assay samples only adds 24 hrs. to the turnaround times... he also indicated to me that once all is said and done, they will have exceeded by 30% the equipment installed for expected workload, so if overburdened by samples they feel they would be well-positioned to handle such if required.

...as I have already stated, once operations are ramped up to full bore, they will be running at 24/7.

...his last comments were centered around their location, being at the airport, T.Bay International..lol...seriously though, he felt there was none better, highways merge here along with the air traffic... great for field geos... they can drive or fly in from field opts, go right to the lab at the airport, and hop on their flight, one stop shopping so to speak... they are quite happy with the building and as I said are ramping up quickly and once they attain that, we will all benefit from extremely quicker turnaround times. I can't imagine jr. explorers from the region, the JBL's, not using this excellent facility... this spring let the McFauld's rush begin... assay turnarounds will never be the same, lol... Good Luck to all McFauld players.... best, kelsee
