Shawn, do yourself a favor - buy a thousand shares -borrow the $ from a relative if necessary- when the stock goes to $12 , sell 500 , repay the debt. Next year, when it is $25, put the other 500 in your RRSP and deduct the $12,500 from your taxable income. Use the $5000 tax refund to pay the gains taxes for '08 and 09 and for a short healthy trip to Las Vegas. Enjoy the RRSP as those 500 shares go to the moon.
