For sure your score is deserving of more than 3.3 thats for sure. Yet you have 12 members recommending this one post and thats just so far. One would expect that the 12 members agree with you so therefore should either leave the stars alone or give you a 4 or 5. Anything less does your score harm and is not a true indicator of your quality of posts. So on the one hand you will receive a thmbs up for appreciation and then 1 star for content? Or 3 stars for content? Not right.

There is a popularity contest attitude that occurs for sure but its not just the longs. How many posters arrive late overflowing with info? A good example would be a geo type like Quiz or Geoprof. The forum is so exited to have a geo explain things that the geo will get bombarded with points and probably with emails as well. (NO offense guys just examples). We also have longs or wise investors who prefer not to post here anymore but periodically when they do they will  get 60 points for 1 sentence.

But I find nothing wrong with that. It is just members showing appreciation and we all do create relationships on the forum and have our favorites. Its human nature. Thats OK....Don
