This from the Noront news release.

"Noront proposes to complete several short surface holes to confirm and better define the extent of high grade mineralization in the vicinity of NOT-07-175."

Now remember there was visible gold in the core from drill that hit this so Noront must have known well before assays came back that something good had been found. It seems logical for Noront to do some preliminary plans to put into effect once assays returned. Putting a small drill on top of this and drilling short holes on target could be already in the works.
