Once underground, Noront expects to complete Phase 1 of the underground programme during the

third quarter of 2008. This phase will enter the NOT-06-100 area about 100 metres below surface and

two other mineralized zones at shallower depths.

Both the portal and two of the mineralized zones to be tested by the underground programme lie on

the portion of the property optioned from Murgor Resources Inc. (MUG-V) and Freewest Resources

Canada Inc. (FWR-V) (Murgor/Freewest) (see Noront press release of Feb 5, 2007).
