Correct me if I am wrong, but did Noront not halt the stock to comment on the assays they received from shallow drill holes recently completed. Below is an exact quote from the NR and I cannot see how we get any negative vibes that we are hearing/reading on this forum or others. For what it's worth, if they were drilling holes to measure rock formation in advance of ramp constructon etc, but what if they were surprised by what they found in the cores, like lots of glitter, could it come as a surprise. Honestly I do not know and we will find out tomorrow or sometime soon, but the unknown sure gets some thinking from the bad side fo the street. IF the news was bad and that is a big IF, I cannot help but wonder why they just do not continue drilling. I may be wrong, but as I read and re-read the NR I think they may have something postive to report. Final comment, Richard Nemis from the Investor luncheon a couple of weeks back did say that DE is the darling of Bay Street as it related to NOT and they had to post a NR that the halt was due to Windfall to keep McFauld's area plays from getting ahead of themselves; no one was expecting news from Windfall as they were waiting for DE2 assays or visuals on DE3. Comments anyone?
