Possibly one reason the US Markets have held up as well as they have is because of 'put it off until tomorrow' mind set or sticking one's head in the sand (agoracom probably wouldn't like where I think Americans are sticking their heads).

Nobody wants a complete meltdown and yet no one has really figured out how to fix what maybe isn't fixable without extreme pain.

Commodities are the flavour of the month but would feel the pain if a huge drop in market confidence hits the US Market.
