Could BOTH the Prof. and John D. be right as to the origin or this area.?????

If the Prof.'s theory is correct, would it hav e been possible that sometime later a meteor could have crashed into the same spot.???

The chances are pretty slim but is it impossible tht this could have happened ????

 

If so, we would likely have just about all the metals known to man !!!!!

Anyone any thoughts or opinons on this?????
