On the junior board, shares in market darling Noront Resources rode to new highs thanks to news that the company has hit a second massive sulphide occurrence two kilometers to the southwest of its Eagle One discovery on the Double Eagle project in northeastern Ontario. Four holes intersected massive to semi-massive sulphide mineralization. Assay results are pending. Shares in
Noront were halted prior to the news at C$6.95, up C$2.12.
