I think that if this was back in 1994 with limited internet access and people relying more on brokers to trade their shares the prices would be higher. Now almost everybody has access to the internet and their own trading account. It is so easy to trade now. More people are trading and making it easier for the mm's to take the small guys shares and keep the price down.
