I would not call Noront's accomplishment(s) 'largely by fluke'. BMK had input from the new aerial surveys and decided, on support from the 'sweetheart PP' purchasers, to move quickly as they were NOT inexperienced either in the "Ring of Fire" nor with Mineral Exploration in general. Too much "EGO" may have got a little in their way but overall their actions were NOT unreasonable given what they already knew of the areas they selected to drill and the rush to corner the market, so to speak. The result is they now have more knowledge and hard won (and somewhat expensive) experience. Packing away the EGO factor should be one of the big hard won knowledge items they have gained. Now more sincere cooperation if not outright coordination of efforts is in store. These guys are NOT suspose to be "STUPID"! They have made too many good moves in the past to NOT be STUPID!!! Isn't that how they got to be respected in the past and wealthy in the process!
