Have been a Not owner since summer 2007, read the posts daily and find them very informative. Even enjoyed the bashers.

47 years ago I was a tree blazer staking claims and while the 1/4 mile square is accurate what it really boiled down to was how many steps on snowshoes equaled a 1/4 mile. I'm sure with GPS the lines are much more accurate now.

For those who may not know, if you google winter roads ontario and then click on Ministry of Northern Development and Mines you will find the winter roads and be able to see how close they do come to Not's promised land. To me this route seems like it would make sense financially to develop it into an all weather road to get to the CNR line at Savant lake.

If you can count how much money you have then you don't have much. I plan on selling my Not when I can no longer count how much I have.
