Numskull Mortgages

I was putting myself in the place of the numskull who mortgages his house to buy more NOT shares...

Then loses his job and can't pay the mortgage...

Then gets the 'in default' letter..

What would I do, sell my NOT shares and pay the lien off? Or live in an apartment and keep the dream alive...
