$8.00 sell order -TD

I always place day orders in at the highest price that TD Waterhouse will accept on line. $8.00 is the maximum today....I don't know how they arrive at the ceiling but just last week it was at $6.00 and incrementally the price hasn't changed that much. Anyone know how that works?
