It seems highly unlikely Noront would buy more land as suggested. Noront is still seeking jv's for what is already in hand. That's not to say some funds wouldn't be expended in staking potentially interesting areas but even that's not cheap at this time of year in that part of the country. Money is better spent actually exploring what's already staked.

Keep in mind that after staking a claim you must expend money on exploring or lose the claim. You have some time to do work but there are time limitations. There are so many claims to deal with in the highly prospective 'Ring of Fire' that adding more causes more trouble than it's worth.
