There was much discussion about the quote, "not one person inside my company (Noront) has sold one share" and so I asked Richard to confirm his comments. The following is my question to him:
"Hi Richard,
On Friday, January 18th you and I had a 15 minute phone conversation on Noront to which I left feeling much better about your strategies and objectives moving forward. In closing our conversation as we talked about all the chatter on the message boards and you advised me to post that, “not one person inside my company (Noront) has not sold one share.” to send a message about exactly how you feel about the company. Now I know you told me not to believe a thing that is posted I received a message that says what was posted as quoted above is not true and that insiders have sold shares. Can you please confirm your statement as quoted so I can stand by the quote and put this negative post to rest?"
This was Richards response:
"Please be advised that to my knowledge that no one in our organization has sold any shares in Noront. Mr. Stekel, a director exercised a stock option that he held in the company and reported this to the appropriate authorities. He has not sold any of these shares. In order to check out insider trading I suggest that you contact SEDI which is where insider trading reports are filed. Best of LuckRichard Nemis"
