There is a lot of market interest in Noront and the 'Ring of Fire'. I just came across the following from Bloomberg's : UBS AG, Europe's biggest bank, said its clients bought more U.S. stocks last week than they sold for the first time in 15 weeks.

Yes copper dropped as much as 1% on European exchange but that really doesn't affect Noronts value. Given what is likely in the ground and when it will come out a lot of people could be placing some bets.
