Hello, fellow NOTs. Been busy with tax returns, but reading the posts, digesting the info. and enjoying the ride back up. And of course, still long, with a wee bit of day trading here and there.
I know that proper tonnage is necessary. But the vaule of Noront's tonnage, is quite good. Possibly spectacular.....AND Noront was originally just looking for zinc (NOT that there's anything wrong with that...). This part blows me away - no zinc ! But......
Twelve assays reported with significant mineralization. With an average mineralization, of 68.05 metres per drill hole.
In order of metal value......
Avg. Nickel Content (per drill hole) : 2.5 %.........Avg. Silver Content (per drill hole) : 3.33 gms. per ton.........Palladium (per drill hole) : 3.97 gms. per ton.......Gold (per drill hole) : 0.2 gms. per ton......Platinum (per drill hole) : 1.05 gms. per ton.......Rhodium.....read on...
From Oct. 27th N.R......"Preliminary analytical work on selected samples for the other Platinum Group Elements (PGE's) suggest that Rhodium is also present in the Eagle One occurrence, this could add significant value to the zone's resource potential" states Richard Nemis....."
AND
From Dec. 13th N.R..... "20 selected samples (from holes 1, 2 and 5) tested for entire suite of PGE's, preliminary results show presence of Rhodium, (highest value greater than 1.0 g/t Rh), and all samples now need to be retested for Rhodium and other PGE's."
Indeed they do and it's in process. With these kind of positive numbers and well mineralized sections, it's nearly certain that there will be a mine developed in the future. As these are average per drill hole numbers, the tonnage must also be proven up.
That's cool, I can wait for that. And that's because almost every time they stick a drill into DE1, significant mineralization is encountered. Take your time, NOT, no worries here, baby. It all looks good.
With due respect the zinc miners and fans worldwide.....zinc stinks, compared to this.... (there's a song there somewhere).
