'I don't really see where/how you get its not "yuppi" for explorers...Mining projects of our mcFaulds type take YEARS and YEARS before they are mined...and by that time, some of the existing deposits will have run out of ORE....This is how the MAJOR companies operate...they look ahead 10 years from now or so, to bring into production new ORE...

We all here know that NOT and likely McFaulds will be sold off to one of these MAJORS, once it's reserve deposits ahve been  established...that should take a year or two...by that time all this BS about recession etc will be all over with...

So I fail to see you negative take on McFaulds...

Firstly, I'm not negative on NOT.  Secondly, I believe your assertion is that, if Rio et al are mothballing other projects it will fast track us into attention when our reserves prove up.  At least, that's what I think you are saying.  My thinking is on another level, that news of slowdowns of mining operations will have a more immediate impact on some venture companies, not necessarily all .... or NOT and the Ring companies.  For everyone who can wait through the difficult economy there is likely no worry..... but not everyone can.  Your opinion... my opinion.
