For those who are courious about the size of the mineral ore reserves at Voisey's bay I found the following information in this 1997 Environmental Impact Statement. This report puts Voisey's deposit at 150 Million tons of mineral resource and at that time 31.7MT proven. (They may have proven more tonnage since 1997.) Pretty big deposit I would say.
