Message: Why are all Markets "tanking" after Bush's "so called" bail out....

I believe part of the issues with the US is that they have already low tax rates, are in a deficit position, have a fair debt to GDP ratio...It will be hard to lower rates more than they are without paying a price for it. Canada on the other hand could lower taxes considerably to stimulate the economy and this will lead to a change from surplus to deficit but since our overall financial situation is far from the US's we could afford to do this. So in my opinion, Canada is in a much better position to withstand and respond to a downturn in the economy.
