If you buy or sell the same co. the same day all sales/buys count as 1 that is practical when you buy/sell large quantities, I never buy less than 10 000 shares, if my order is for 10K on a slow day the price will run higher, by repeating 2K order 5X I get the shares I want and pay one commission only. vila
