When I finally take some serious profits it will be one emotional melt down (yippy yahoo!), but until that time it's all smoke and mirrors with the emotions best left unplugged.  Are we ever compromised when we stand on our emotions more than solid rules of trading.  I like to feel good about things but with the market the way it is, I find myself quite happy not getting too caught up in it all.   The day to day is not so relevant as the month to month or year to year depending on how you trade.  Everyone's temperament is different though.  To each their own .... but know what works for you and practice it.
