Seems to me: 1) reality remains, when forced to cover, eg a takeover, the short has to pay market to cover. If he fails then, the house placing the trade is stuck with a bad debt to meet the account obligation. That certainly is not any house I have dealt with.

2) If I hold warrants only for future stock, what is wrong with pre-selling the stock ??
