It is true that there is some room for interpretation, but logically adjacent does mean that nothing of the same kind is between two things that are adjacent, even if there is some space between these things.
For example, on a street each detached house can be considered adjacent the next house on the same side of the street - the next-door neighbour's house is adjacent to yours, even with the space, only because there are no other houses between your house and his/her house...
I would say that two or more properties that are several properties apart are not adjacent, because there are other properties in between, and this is consistent with the logic of 'adjacent'... To say that are would be misleading, and Ima sure nobody in the mining industry would engage in such tactics :-)
In truth, the word probably gets misused, and that is in part what led to the debate, but it was alo the wording of the BMK news release that cause peope to believe the new claims adjoined NOT'ss when they stated the thing about "on the border of an important geological contact"....
There was no reason for this issue to be raised again now and doing so was poor taste... My apologies for the clutter.
