Message: Putting up high Sell orders on TD

Hi guys,

I put all the NOT shares from my main account at TD, up for sale most days at the highest price they will allow......usually about $2.50 over the prevailing price.  I agree Junior....they should let us put them up at whatever price we choose.  I only do this on days when I can keep a fairly close watch on the market.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you needn't worry about a halt, (assuming you are checking the market at least every hour or so) because you can cancel the sell order during a halt, but TD won't let you place a new order on line, until it starts trading again.  You can call in however, and place an order with a rep, for your web price.

This tactic was explained to me a few years back.  Hopefully it helps a bit.  Good luck next week all.
