I believe they (the ones announcing the selloff) wanted to accumulate as much cheap shares as possible.  By predicting a sell off, newbies may dump at this  ridiculous price and these manipulators keep getting compensated for driving our NOT so low.  It is a game they are playing well but judging by the volume, not very successfully today.  They will be back before the open on Thursday announcing more doom and gloom.  Best thing to do is to accumulate at these bargain rates.
