I disagree with anyone who says that comments made on these forums have no effect on the shareprice.Professionals know that this relatively new technology(on-line trading, stock forums) revolutionalized the promotion game. The stock "touts" of old have moved on-line and their message is being heard by an ever increasing audience,an audience made up of mostly new players to the stock market who open a trading account, put in some money and start looking for winners. They hear that a particular stock is making huge gains, look in on the forums and read all of the wild price forcasts supplied by the promoter's team and immediately gets onboard .Usually it's too late, they're in at the top,the stock falls off, they read that they just bought a POS,their confidence is eroded by those negative comments, they're losing their stake fast and are in a bigger hurry to get out than they were to get in.Meanwhile the pro pushes back from his computer terminal, pulls a bottle of fine scotch out of the drawer, lights up a fine cigar, leans back and laughs. Then he moves to the next forum ,another alias and starts his spiel anew.Don't believe me?They wouldn't be here in such large numbers if it wasn't so easy. Now of course I expect alot of negative comments from this posting and those that disagree the strongest will have just showed their hand.
