Location: McFaulds Lake, James Bay Lowlands in north-eastern Ontario
Minerals: Base metals, nickel, copper, platinum, palladium and diamonds
Summary: Noront currently holds two large claim blocks in which management believes to be the next large base metal camp in Canada.
Since base metal deposits in other Canadian camps, Noranda for example, appear in clusters, Noront actively staked as much ground as finances allowed around the three recent and significant discoveries of Spider Resources and KWG's joint venture in the McFaulds Lake (Double Eagle) camp.
To date 27 holes have been completed totaling in excess of 5 kilometers of drilling. Extremely high grade intersections of Nickel, Copper, Platinum and Palladium over impressive widths continue to highly encourage management at Noront. Rhodium is also present in the Eagle One occurrence, this could add significant value to the zone's resource potential. |
