doublewide;

Thanks for the response. I think it is important for the prespective of both the Eagle1 and entire area. You may want to continue in this particular aspect of the Noront/Mc Fauld's Lake discussion either on a periodic or regular basis, but your participation has been and will be valued.

To comment on some aspects of your post (need not respond immediately)

In response to: The Big Think - Knocking ... by Old Joe

I have the following to put to all interested posters and Forum 'Readers':

"The geologists are describing mafic dikes in these southern holes. Quite often (not always) this is suggestive that we we might be near a fault structure."

From my limited knowledge, 'mafic dikes' may occur along and near 'Faulting' activity. But they are considered to be a very good sign that there has been subsequent Geological activity in the area of a previous Depositional Event. Thus, indicating subsequent reworking of the mineralogy of part of the previously deposited Mineralization . This implies that though there may not be a 'Hollywood' like fault immediately South of Eagle1, there appears to be good signs of reworking of the mineralogy in that area. This has implications for Probe Mines (both to the North and to the West) more so than for Fancamp (to the SouthEast) that I feel a little more comfortable with? .

As for Noront, what will they do next? Will they go 'deep' to the SouthWest to drill through the 'presumed "Bridbe Structuer" ' or will they jump across it and attempt to locate the 'continuation' of the 'mineralized channel'? They have clearly stated they have the 'Deep Drill Ability' already and will have new 'Shallow Drill Ability' (~800-1000m) Rigs coming in in Jan. 2008.

"There is no reason at this time to think the geology in this area is anything more than a typical granite-greenstone belt, similar to others found around the world."

I agree! No more need be said on this for the time being.

"Therefore the geologic system must have been significant enough and long lived enough to allow lots of sulphide enriched magma/lava to flow through this area and deposit the nickel rich sulphide. There should be more around!"

Agreed here as well! But the time frame is best thought of in 'Geologic Time' and a "significant enough and long lived enough" time could be very short in 'Geologic Time'. As for the "lots of sulphide enriched magma/lava", what I have focused on here is the source of the Sulfur. I feel that it could be a very close source. As close as only a 100-200m away. If at all correst in this feeling then there can be very serious implications for adjacent Claims! Folks, speculate?

"What will NOT do next".

Agreed! This is the Million Dollar (tens of millions of Tonnes) Speculation. Stay tuned!

Old Joe
