HSS;
The Voisy's Bay situation. Without going into any detail, as there is much, I will just cover the following items.
"chemical process engineering at Voisey's Bay".
There is currently a Environmental study on setting up a 'Metal Extraction Operation' in either "Long Harbour" or at "Argentia" on the East side of Placentia Bay. This is the focus of the 'chemical process engineering' and any one of you Newfoundland based Posters can elaborate on this matter if you please.
"Protecting the environment has been a priority since the earliest planning stages of the Voisey’s Bay project. It underwent one of the most comprehensive environmental assessments in Canadian mining history and operates with environmental preservation as a front-of-mind value."
This is significant to us in that with the completion of a NI 43-101 Resource Estimate for Eagle1 will form the basis for commencing the commissioning of likewise "Environmental Studies" for Double Eagle. I was wondering why Richard Nemis would rush to do a IN 43-101 so early in the Exploration phase of a Development, and now I feel I know why. It will allow for the early Commissioning of such "Environmental Studies" for Double Eagle, and thereby greatly speed up the time frame for bringing into Production a Mining Operation for this Deposit. Ontario wants these types of Industrial Developments eagerly but have processes in Law to be followed. Thus, I better understand and appreciate what Richard Nemis and company have in their Planning.
Any with the Legalities Knowledge for development of this aspect of the overall development prospects please feel free to help us out!
Here is to Forward Looking Planning!!!
