"What will NOT do next.....Every single major mining company in the world (and John Harvey will know this) will crunch the numbers on the deposit as it has been drilled to date and determine that at long term metal prices it is not economic. Too small for the Capital Expenditure required. The geos in those companies will love this deposit and say things like "it could be a lot bigger since these types of deposits are rare and when found they tend to be large and they'll present those upside scenarios to the bosses" but the boys in head office who sign the checks (engineers/accountants) will say "let's wait until they prove a bit more up and then we'll buy a piece when its less risky". I think RN had a chance when the stock was around $7 to have a major come in for a piece but that has probably passed.....unless...."
Unless a large company like CVRD decides to come in and stake their own property, which they did. A rather telling indicator don't you think? Couple that with the Fab Four getting in on BMK.
Your points are well taken and intelligently cautious. However, the best money to be made is on early speculative entry for the small guy and the above mentioned indicators are about as solid as it gets in promoting confidence, considering your wise approach to investing only that which you are prepared to lose.
