MMS Geology McFaulds, Dr. Mungall, NOT’s News…

I’m going to make this post short, as I understand some of you can’t take in all this geological terminology…

I would first like to point out just what an economic grade is for Nickel…Voisey’s Bay, which is often compared with McFaulds only contained 1.57& Ni overall average, and 2.6% Cu, 0.10Co and NO PGEs !!! Lingshuan deposit in China only contains less/about 1% Ni on average…Even in Sudbury, deposits like McCreety only contain 0.27% Ni, 1.1% Cu and PGEs…So these “expectations” games of a minimum of 5% Ni etc, that are being played by some with NOT/McFaulds are outrageous to say the least…The total tonnage for NOT’s deposit will include all rocks that contain Nickel to a cut off grade of about 0.20%...This amount of rock is then added to the 6 to 7% Ni rocks, to make out an average % of Ni…It’s too early to make any determination of the exact average, But I would guess the average % for NOT would be about 1.75% Ni, which would be OUTSTANDING !!...

I believe that NOT’s News today was Fabulous…they are consistently hitting very good grades in massive and semi massive sulfides, and as well are expanding their tonnage reserves with the bit lower grade portions…One of the most important FACTS released today was the Rhodium content…although It does not seem a lot at first, but when one considers that just ½ gram of Rhodium adds $100 to the value of the rock, and I believe some samples gave 1 gram per tom…I have/had been saying that McFaulds hold tremendous potential for PGEs…especially the SPQ/FWR optioned claims
With their layered peridotite Chromium and PGEs including Rhodium, which will be drilled in a few weeks…

Dr. Mungall…and Geology…

Dr. Mungall has in fact confirmed today, most all of the suggestions/ideas I submitted in my previous posts on Genesis theories at McFaulds, starting with the NOT deposit being formed in Magma “conduits” or passageways wherein much greater LARGER volumes of Magma had already flown…He also confirmed that these greater LARGER volumes of Magma arose out of much deeper parent Magmas, which would be indicative of a much more laterally extensive deposit, Kms in length as well as a much deeper vertical deposit…

He does however have his own theories on the origin of the sulfur involved in formation of the sulfide deposit…I would like to point out, that this is really of no importance at all, it is mearly and academic point, since the sulfides found are a matter of FACT, and not really important as to their source..

There are many theories about the source of the sulfur, and I prefer Dr. A. Naldrett’s theory of “felsification”…But again this is just a matter of academics, and means nothing to NOT’s deposit , since the sulfides are there as a FACT…he goes to give his views on the thee sulfur originating from a Iron/magnetite source, and points out that since there exists one farther away, so NOT’s deposit extends much further…the most important issues such as the LARGE volumes of Magma necessary to produce these very rich sulfides deposits in these conduits, makes it probable that these Magmas came from much deeper levels, and extended laterally for many Kms.. He does in fact confirm this , and that NOT’s deposit resides in a Large Magmatic system that extends laterally as well as vertically to depth…

So in conclusion, this preliminary Geology report is superb news for NOT and McFaulds, and gives some evidence for the tremendous potential for NOT deposit and its extensions at McFaulds…

IMCO, as usual…
