I don't have the stats at hand but I remember in the late 70's and early eighties the Canadian market decoupled from the US during the commodity boom. Initially the TSE as it was known then moved in tandem with the DOW and then went on it's own way. I expect history to repeat and the TSX will decouple and outperform all US markets. You heard it here!
