There may also be a 'Communication Ban' issue. With their position in the spotlight (heart of the matter - drilling good mineralization) they may be a little annoyed that their right to call home after every shift is restricted in some way. Lots of potential for rumors to run rampant with every call to a "LOVED ONE". Then there is the school yard grape vine. It has a way of following people all the way through life.
Could be that they just want a more catering Baker on site. I've been in camps where the whole operation was shut down because one individual falsely claimed there was mold on a slice of bread. The consequence was a day of idleness, ~ $150 000.00 lost to down time, and a new caterer flown in the next day.

PS: Hope this is not a problem up there and that service contracts cover such eventualities. Labor Markets are somewhat tight but there are plenty of Gas Field Workers not working this winter and thus the cross over of services to Camps should not be a serious problem if handled correctly.
