I misses that post Joe else I'd have put my 2 cnets worth in back then. I get a second chance.

In Thunder Bay there are some of course. They are also swamped. I did have the opportunity to visit the inner sanctum of one of them.

It was summer. I thoughtI should qualify that because when I visited I saw what I thought were a group of GEO students from the local university (Lakehead U) also perhaps some biology, forestry,etc...all that were there were 2nd 3rd yrs etc.. I spoke with my friend about this and he said the students are a great pool because like a class it only takes one pro to oversee the work of several students as most of them already have the geo 101 plus more. Also there are first year students who are taught to carry the cores carefully. So here we have the newbies getting the dirty work.LOL Eventually some students remain and gain emploment in the area.

So I don't know if the students were there as summer students replacing fulltimers for vacation or job placement related to their field of study. I will find out though.

The fact that now that school has begun and the core nrs have slowed, may be just a coincidence. They are having exams now and will be off this week. If any of them go back to work for some Christmas money and at the same time, our results begin to speed up........well it might mean I'm on to something..:).Don
