I did misread your chart...

However, in NOT's nickel defense I see that the price of nickel, as taken from that point in time where NOT hit the 'doozy' drill hole, has, if fact, risen.

But your point is well taken. Nickel is tied to economic expansion and perhaps this will not be a completely rosy story for nickel going forward...  althought most say China and India will not be effected by a western slowdown in expansion.

But we also have Gold, and then there is the Platinum

 I think we're in good shape. All bases covered.
