All we little guys can do is watch.
That's why I think that to have a basic belief in the stock is so important. If you don't, you get continually buffeted by these winds. Odds are that a well run company with the goods will do well.
Other traders try to catch the winds, ride the sail, then hop off before they change... Day trading. Different game.
These guys look at the news releases, then they look at volume, and if the trend looks strong they jump on board. Conversely, when the excitement wanes, they short it. they don't care if the gold is there, or if the management's good, or if the company is well financed. These are not important to them.
Long game works better for me. I like to like the company and stick with it.
NOT is my best of breed in this catagory today. Got a NOT of love for this stock!
