I was a rookie once. I learned a lot by asking questions. My questions sounded silly and sometimes made no sense, just like today sometimes.LOL....I was fortunate in that the board I spent most of my time on had some outstanding and patient pros whom I call my teachers. They answered all my questions no matter what. They even taught me some board etiquette ie "YELLING".
IMHO it is a sad reflection of a board when a poster feels that he or she must yell to be heard. Instead of taking offense at a poster yelling, why not ask yourself if you or we are contributing to an environment where we can't even hear when someone yells.
Perhaps if we all showed patience, especially during these tough times when every one's nerves are on the edge of their skin, and give these newbies some room to speak, and then to try and answer their queries we would all be the better for it.
Its funny how things come back on you. I was nice to a few and now they know more than I, and now help me. Call it Karma or what ever you like. I call it "Respect". We could all use it.
So if there are any dumb questions out there just ask away. If you type O/T or off topic those in a rush to watch their money in the red. Some of us will read and answer........Don
