Disilusioned what are you talking about? Why are you trying to confuse people? These joint ventures are intended to define the resource base as quickly and as efficiently as possible. The partnering(with a Major) alluded to by some would be a way for a Major to be on the inside to take advantage in a take over bid once that resources base satisfies a warranted take over. If the Major buys in it would be for alot more than today's trading price as the major would in fact be throwing money at NOT to do more exploring and drilling of their property.

You will notice the JV's still gives NOT control over their property and thus give that control to any Major when that take over purchase comes in.
