With Stiglitz making very negative comments with respect to Bernanke recently, I have to wonder what the US Fed is actually up to. They appear to be in a tight spot but Bernanke maintains a slightly smug appearence about him. The Fed has the data and the model crunchability. They also have the ear of all the other Central Banks. So the question I keep pondering is, 'What are they really up to and what (who) is the target of this (paraphrased: What do they want the outcome to be?)? Then there is; How much of this can they be expected to accomplish? and to a lesser extent; Over what time frame?

Outside all this stuff, Noront and other Mineral Explorers in any thing like the position of Noront should do very well in this world environment. Expecially when the large institutions can afford more time to look around at up and comming opportunities. Same for small time retail investors
