Thank you and all who are sharing their understanding here. Much appreciated.

How do I differentiate a dip from a plunge?

Is a 'dip' the angle of trend and/or a direction on the compass. Example. To dip to the south west would mean she's angled downward (how deep we don't know) in a SW direction? (like the earlier sinking ship example).

The plunge I assume meaning how deep?

Also, the NOT sketch published.  Am I looking cross wise at the deposit, like I'm in the ground with it, or straight down from a position in the sky?

I guess we really don't know what we have here, could be a boa with a chicken in its gut, the lockness monster, or a giant squid.... Lots of fun poking around this one!

Thanks again

BK
