Wow..good of you to post this..I'm Canadian and don't know all of the American holidays..at least the ones that close the markets up. This is great. I'll keep a copy.
Tomorrow is Rememberance Day here (November 11). Normally when it falls on a weekday I believe the market takes a Moment of Silence at 11:00 a.m. to honour the war veterans past and present. I don't think the Canadian markets normally close that day, albeit a lot of the government buildings do. Our next big one is Christmas Eve (close early I'm thinking), Christmas (closed) and Boxing Day (I don't think the market is open on boxing day but I would need to confirm) and then New Years Eve (early closing I believe..usually a bit too tipsy to care that day..) and then of course closed again New Years Day.
