Well at least you had food.. :) BBQ black flies, Salted black flies, Sauteed Black Flies....ummmmmmm....makes me hungry.. of course you would need to eat them to regain the portion of your body they ripped off of you. I truly wouldn't want to be a miner out there. Probably the cold is better and that...they will get...

I guess the next question...when will the mining stop for the winter and what will get it started again?? Is there perma-frost there or is it too far south...? Sheesh forgot all of my Geography lessons...shame!!
