I think most of us have too high expectations of journalists.  They are writing to the lowest common denominator and being read is more important than accuracy. Did you ever see an article written about something with which you are thoroughly familiar? You often wouldn't recognize it.  I think this is the situation with NOT. Most of us here know much more about the subject than the non seasoned journalist. 

The late Jim McConnell knew his stuff as do many on BNN.

BTW have you noticed (or is it just me) that BNN is carrying less about small caps. They seem to have banished John Embry.  All we ever see are the same Large Caps over and over.
